Jungle overtaking yard...found Jane Goodall observing chimpanzees in overgrowth around pond...too tired to blog...but the spirit of Homer has come over me:
-----------------------------------
Burns: Oh, yes, sitting. The great leveler. From the mightiest Pharaoh to the lowliest peasant, who doesn't enjoy a good sit?
Homer: Oh, man, you are so right. Did you ever sit like this?
Burns: Yes, yes, that's it. Oh, I could go for one of those right now. The only hard part is getting up.

Brought to you by a Humor-Blogs sitting moment.

Too tired to call your sissy back too? :) I always enjoy a good sit with my girls when I get home from work.
I had a good sit last night after a lot of outside work. There's just nothing like a good sit. Oh and the Simpsons. There's nothing like a good sit while watching the Simpsons.
Homer totally rules...
sitting is like the best thing..ever...!!!
Ah, our intrepid heroine Alice sees dark settling over the jungle and pitches her tent, for a well-earned rest. :)
I'm with you... er... Homer 100%
I did some serious sitting last weekend :-)
What a coincidence - I'm sitting right now. In fact, I've been sitting for a good four hours - in a row. I'm very lazy like that.
mmmmmmmmmm:beer.
I have a good friend whose motto for life is:
"Why run when you can walk, Why walk when you can sit, Why sit when you can lay down"
It looks like homer is nearly out of the sit phase and into the lie down phase.
Ha! I was gonna say “mmmm beer” but then Sue beat me to it! Maybe I’ll just add “mmmm dount…” to her beer. ;o)
Hubs does an awesome Burns impersonation and can ramble on to the point of me almost peeing myself from laughter!
Sounds like you need some Star Wars Sock tops to have the force with you as you battle the weeds. I'll be right over with them:)
A neighbor whose house across the street from ours is actually their vacation home thoughtfully dug up some groundcover from their landscaping, bagged it and boxed it and brought it all the way up from their other house for us to plant on our sort of landscaped hill.
The box is still sitting on my porch, a bushel of GUILT I hurry past every morning on my way to work.
When it comes to garden slacking, no one sucks more than I.
I don't often sit like that anymore. No matter how good it feels, the getting up part is so excruciatingly painful and time-consuming. And graceless...
Heck yeah, sitting!
